What we repair

Appliance repair services in Jacksonville and Northeast Florida

We work on the appliances that were built into the kitchen rather than delivered into a gap — panel-ready columns, dual-fuel ranges, integrated dishwashers, wine storage. The ones where replacing is a construction project, not a purchase.

Scope of work

Every appliance we service, and the systems we do not

This is the whole list. It is kitchen and laundry equipment, which is the only work this company does - there is no second division here doing heating and cooling.

Not our trade Call an HVAC contractor

  • Furnaces, air handlers and central heating
  • Air conditioning, mini-splits and heat pumps
  • Duct systems, returns and whole-house air quality
  • Thermostats that control the house, rather than an oven or a refrigerator
  • Water heaters, pool heaters and well equipment

Heating and air conditioning are a separate licensed trade and we do not hold it. Our EPA Section 608 refrigerant certification covers the sealed systems inside refrigerators, freezers and ice machines — not comfort cooling. If the house is hot rather than the food warm, a licensed HVAC contractor is the call to make, and we would rather say so than take the booking.

The line most shops will not cross

Sealed-system work, in your kitchen

Federal law requires EPA Section 608 certification to open a sealed refrigeration system — the compressor, condenser, evaporator, drier and the tubing that connects them. Plenty of companies will replace a fan motor or a control board and then tell you a unit is beyond repair, because that is where their certification runs out.

We hold it, and we do that work in the home. On a built-in that is the difference between a repair and a five-figure replacement with a carpenter attached to it.

Before you pick a page

How soon can you get here?

Most of our service area gets a same-day or next-day appointment. We work in two-hour arrival windows and call ahead when the technician is on the way. Fruit Cove, Mandarin, Bartram Park and Julington Creek are usually same day; Ponte Vedra, St. Augustine and the Beaches are typically next day.

Will you have the part on the first visit?

Often. We stock the parts that actually fail most on built-in refrigeration: condenser and evaporator fan motors, drain heaters, water valves, door gaskets and water filters. Sealed-system components and control boards are ordered against your serial number, which usually adds a couple of days.

Can you actually do sealed-system work?

Yes. Our technicians hold EPA Section 608 certification, which federal law requires to open a sealed refrigeration system, and we perform compressor, evaporator, drier and tubing repairs in the home. Many companies will replace a fan or a board and then declare a unit unrepairable, because sealed-system work is the line they cannot cross.

Which brands do you work on?

Sub-Zero is our specialty, along with Wolf and Cove. We also service Viking, Thermador, Miele, Gaggenau, La Cornue, Monogram, JennAir, Dacor, Fisher & Paykel, Liebherr, True, Perlick, U-Line, Marvel, Scotsman, Asko and Bertazzoni. If your appliance is not on that list, call and ask.

Not sure which of these it is?

Describe what it is doing and read us the model number off the data plate. We will tell you which appliance category it falls into and what it usually turns out to be.
