Miele puts more appliances in a luxury kitchen than any other brand. We service the refrigeration, the ovens, the dishwashers, the coffee systems and the laundry.

Product lines: MasterCool, Generation 7000, PureLine, ContourLine, G Series Dishwashers, W1 Washers, T1 Dryers, CVA Coffee Systems, KWT Wine Conditioning.

Model prefixes on the data plate: KF, K, F, KWT, H, DGC, DGM, KM, DA, G, CVA, W1, T1.

## Faults we see on these

- Waterproof System float trip in the dishwasher base tray, leaving the machine in a continuous drain
- Blocked drain pump or non-return valve behind the coarse filter
- Circulation pump or flowmeter fault - the cycle sounds normal but dishes come out dirty
- Heater relay or NTC sensor failure causing cold washes and very long cycles
- W1 washer drain pump jammed by coins and underwire, or a failed door interlock
- T1 heat-pump dryer running long because the condenser fin block and fine filter are packed with lint
- CVA coffee system brew unit seizing from missed descaling, and drip-tray switch faults
- MasterCool column door alignment, ice maker fill faults and freezer drain blockage
- Induction cooktop cooling fan failure and unresponsive touch controls

## What we service

Miele is the only brand that can plausibly fill an entire luxury house on its own, and in this market it usually does. A kitchen with a Miele dishwasher very often has Miele laundry in the utility room and a Miele coffee system in the butler's pantry.

We service the whole line:

- **MasterCool refrigeration** — the K, F and KF panel-ready columns and combination units, plus KWT wine conditioning cabinets.
- **Ovens and steam** — H-series wall ovens, DGC combi-steam ovens and DGM steam ovens across the Generation 7000, PureLine and ContourLine designs.
- **Cooking surfaces and ventilation** — KM induction and gas cooktops, DA hoods.
- **Dishwashing** — G-series fully integrated and panel-ready dishwashers.
- **Laundry** — W1 washers and T1 heat-pump dryers, including stacked and side-by-side installs in tight second-floor closets.
- **Coffee** — CVA built-in coffee systems.

## What actually fails

Miele builds to a longer service life than most of the market, so the faults we see are wear items reaching the end of a long run rather than early defects.

On dishwashers, the single most common call is the Waterproof System. Miele puts a float in the base tray; if water reaches it, the machine locks into a protective drain and refuses to run. Customers read that as "it will not stop pumping." The real job is finding the leak — usually a heat exchanger, a hose clamp, a door seal, or the pump housing — not resetting the float. After that, the frequent ones are a drain pump blocked at the non-return valve, a circulation pump or flowmeter fault where the cycle sounds completely normal but nothing gets clean, and heater or NTC sensor faults that leave you with cold water and a cycle that runs for hours.

On W1 washers, the drain pump takes the abuse: coins, underwire and hair. Door interlocks fail with age. On T1 heat-pump dryers, the complaint is almost always "it takes forever," and the cause is almost always a packed condenser fin block behind the plinth plus a fine filter that has never been rinsed. That is a maintenance job, not a compressor job, and we will tell you so.

On CVA coffee systems, the brew unit seizes when descaling has been skipped. On MasterCool columns, we see door alignment on tall panel-ready doors carrying heavy custom fronts, ice maker fill faults and blocked freezer drains.

## Parts and why they matter

Miele parts are precise and platform-specific. Door seals, pump housings and heat exchangers differ across G-series generations that look identical from the front, and the serial number on the plate — not the model family — decides the fit. We pull the serial before we order.

We install genuine OEM Miele parts. Aftermarket pump assemblies and generic hoses are the reason a machine comes back three months later, and in a house with a finished laundry room over living space, a cheap hose is not a saving.

## Independent service and your warranty

We are an independent shop. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Miele. If your appliance is inside its Miele factory warranty, the sensible move is to use Miele's own service channel for that work — we will tell you that on the phone rather than take the call.

Once you are past the factory warranty, using an independent company does not void anything. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer cannot void a warranty simply because you had an independent shop do the work or used a part it did not sell. That is a protection for you; it is not a claim that Miele will pay us.

Our own work is covered by our parts and labor warranty, quoted in writing before we start. The diagnostic is flat, credited toward the repair when you approve it. We work Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 4pm, out to roughly 40 miles of driving from our base in Fruit Cove.

## Questions people ask

**Do you repair Miele dishwashers and Miele laundry, not just the kitchen?**

Yes. Miele dishwashers and the W1 washer and T1 dryer pair are a large part of our work. They are often the most under-served appliances in a luxury house because most shops only chase refrigeration and cooking.

**My Miele dishwasher keeps draining and will not start a cycle. What is it?**

That is usually the Waterproof System. A leak into the base tray lifts a float, the machine locks into a protective drain and it will not run until the water is removed and the source of the leak is found and fixed.

**Are you authorized by Miele?**

No. We are an independent appliance repair company with no affiliation to Miele. We repair Miele appliances and install genuine OEM Miele parts, and we say so plainly rather than implying a factory relationship we do not have.

**How long do Miele parts take to arrive?**

Common wear parts such as pumps, hoses, filters, door seals and heater elements are usually available in a few days. Control boards and cabinet parts for older German-built models can run longer, and we tell you the lead time before you approve the repair.

**What does a Miele service call cost?**

The diagnostic fee is flat. It is credited toward the repair when you approve the work. You get a written estimate before anything is opened up or ordered.

**Do you work on Miele built-in coffee systems?**

Yes, we service CVA built-in coffee systems. The two most common jobs are a brew unit that has seized from missed descaling and water path or drip-tray switch faults that stop the machine mid-cycle.
